HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Hutchinson Community College (HutchCC) has been selected as the recipient of a $25,000 grant from the Arconic Foundation. The investment has allowed HutchCC to expand its Automation Engineering Technology (AET) labs.
”Arconic’s support of our AET program is greatly appreciated,” said Dr. Carter File, President of Hutchinson Community College. “With their support, we have been able to expand our student capacity by 25%, preparing even more students for careers in this high-demand, high-wage field”.
The Arconic Foundation seeks partnerships to create skill-building learning experiences that enhance individual opportunity, specifically within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and manufacturing workforce development.
