HARVEY COUNTY, Kan. – A Hesston woman was killed when her vehicle left the roadway and rolled several times Sunday evening southeast of Hesston on Hesston Rd. According to the Harvey County Sheriff’s Office, 35-year-old Traci Slater received life-saving measures but was pronounced dead on the scene.
Harvey County Dispatch sent emergency responders to the 5500 block of N Hesston Rd. Sunday evening around 7:22 p.m. A preliminary investigation indicated Slater’s vehicle left the roadway, entering the north ditch and rolling several times.
Slater was the only occupant in the vehicle. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
