HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Salt City Splash will have a delayed opening due to mechanical issues at the 23-year-old aquatic center. The Splash was scheduled to open on Saturday, May 27 for the 2023 season; however, will now open on Saturday, June 3.
The Summer 2023 public swim hours include:
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: Open 12:30-6:30 p.m.
- Fridays: Open 12:30-8 p.m.
- Saturdays & Sundays: Open 12:30-6:30 p.m.
- Mondays (starting June 5): CLOSED
While the Splash will not be open for public swim on Mondays, it will be open for youth swim team and other programming.
