Hutchinson City Council to Consider Interim City Manager Agreement at Friday Meeting

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Hutchinson City Council will consider an “interim services agreement” with former Reno County Historical Society executive director Mary Grace Clements as part of a0323-new-board-combo-image_1-scaled (1) special meeting Friday afternoon at 4 at City Hall.

If approved, Clements will serve as interim City Manager while the Council searches for a successor to Kendal Francis who was fired on May 16th.

Clements served as historical society director from 2016 to 2018, and before that worked in the airline industry for many years, most recently spending 11 ½ years as vice president of customer operations for Allegiant Travel Company in Las Vegas.

She’s currently on the board of the Hutchinson Community Foundation and in the past has chaired the Travel and Tourism Advisory Committee and Market Hutch board.

The agreement with Clements would be on a bi-weekly to bi-weekly basis with a salary of $6,730.77 per bi-weekly period.
