RENO COUNTY, Kan. – This year’s Sand Plum Bicycle Classic will feature a new date and location. The annual Reno County favorite will be taking place on Sunday, June 4, and will offer four different distances to choose from:16-mile, 36-mile, 53-mile, or take on the 71-mile Bad Bobby Route, in memory of our longtime friend and Sand Plum supporter Bob Helfrich.
All routes will take you through the scenic countryside of Reno County with plenty of challenges and views along the way. This year’s ride features a SW route, which will begin and end in Arlington, KS. The city of Arlington is excited to welcome the Sand Plum Cyclist into its community.
Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist looking for a new challenge, or a beginner looking to test your limits, the Sand Plum Bicycle Classic has something for everyone.
