MCPHERSON, Kan. – A change order on the Northview Road sidewalk project phase 2 was approved Tuesday by McPherson City Commissioners. The change involves design work for the addition of a drainage pipe in the south ditch, which will allow for the construction of an additional sidewalk on the south side of Northview from Main to Grimes.
The change added an additional $53 thousand to the $145 thousand design contract with Benesch and Company that was approved last fall.
Other Projects
A nearly $179 thousand bid was accepted from Apex Excavating for the Oak Street alley main replacement project phase 2.
Placement of curb and gutter on Skancke Street from Chestnut to the railroad is underway and installation of sanitary sewer lines has begun for the Deerfield Estates senior housing project.
