Observance of National Peace Officers Memorial Day to be Observed May 12th in Hutchinson

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Reno County Sheriff’s Office along with the Hutchinson Police Department will host an Observance of National Peace Officers Memorial Day on Friday, May 12th, at 11 a.m. in front of the Law Enforcement Center in Hutchinson.

The public is invited to attend this special tribute to honor Law Enforcement and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving Reno County and abroad.

Following opening statements from Sheriff Darrian Campbell, the ceremony will feature an Invocation, Guest Speaker, Recognition of Fallen Officers, and Posting of Colors.

Afterward, hamburgers provided by Reno County Crime Stoppers and Civitan Club will be provided for all Law Enforcement and support staff.

In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the Auditorium in the basement of the Law Enforcement Center.
