HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Hutchinson Community Concerts this week shared details of the 2023-2024 season.

Phat Cat Swinger

Thursday, October 5, 2023 – 7:30 p.m.

A West Coast high-energy little-big band with that classic Hollywood touch, and re-imagined arrangements from timeless eras – Sinatra to Buble and everything in between.

Jason Lyle Black

Tuesday, November 7, 2023 – 7:30 p.m.

A remarkable entertainer with clever arrangements and fun stories, Jason will take you on a musical journey through Broadway favorites, Disney classics, hits from pop groups, and movie theme songs.

Kiss Me Once

Tuesday, February 6, 2024 – 7:30 p.m.

Honoring the greatest generation and celebrating the songs that inspired them, this award-winning show comes alive through the storytelling of Kathy Kaefer based on her interviews with veterans about their wartime experiences and her grandmothers about their lives as young women on the home front.

Divas 3

Saturday, March 9, 2024 – 7:30 p.m.

With powerhouse voices and unique arrangements, you’ll be enchanted by the iconic hits of the great Divas in music history spanning four decades –the 1960s through the 1990s– with legendary hits by Aretha Franklin, Carole King, Céline Dion, Whitney Houston, Dolly Parton, Cher, Donna Summer, ABBA and other favorites.

Brassfire

Thursday, April 11, 2024 – 7:30 p.m.

A virtuosic trio led by world renowned trumpeter Jens Lindemann. Jens, former member of the famed Canadian Brass. Brassfire features piano and brass supporting Jens in honoring the music of trumpet greats Louis Armstrong, Herb Alpert and Doc Severinsen.

7000 Miles to Broadway

Thursday, May 2, 2024 – 7:30 p.m.

An original member of the “Jersey Boys” J. Robert Spencer, takes you on a musical odyssey across genres and decades while reminiscing of family trips in a wood-paneled station wagon singing along with the radio. Truly a variety show Willie’s country twang, the smooth crooning of Frank, pop favorites of Frankie Valli and Broadway hits.

Season tickets are $50 for adults and $10 for students (K-12), $110 for a family membership, which includes 2 adults and all K-12 students living in the home. A season membership entitles each member to attend all SIX concerts.
