HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A recent traffic accident at 30th and Halstead in Hutchinson has the forced removal of the signal pole at the northeast corner of the intersection.
According to Hutchinson Public Works, stop signs have been put in place, making the intersection temporarily a four-way stop. Both eastbound and westbound lanes of traffic on 30th St have been reduced to a single-lane for safety reasons.
A temporary traffic pole will be installed on Monday, April 3. Normal service at the intersection is expected to be restored by April 7.
