HARVEY COUNTY, Kan. – One man was found dead, another in critical condition following a call for medical assistance Thursday east of Hesston.
Law enforcement and EMS were dispatched Thursday afternoon when acquaintances called 911 after finding two men unresponsive in a home in the 8000 block of N West Rd.
Emergency responders found a man in his 40s dead inside the home. His name has not been released pending notification of family. They also performed life-saving measures on the scene for a second man in his 50s. He was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. He is a resident of the home.
This incident remains under investigation. Foul play is not immediately suspected.
