City of Hutchinson Announces Changes to Small Business Relief and Recovery Grant

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The City of Hutchinson Small Business Relief and Recovery Grant Program is intended to respond to the negative economic impacts of the COVID-19 public health emergency, as well as responding to the needs of an adequate workforce to fully support our local Small Businesses. This grant focuses on the identified needs and impacts faced by local small businesses.

The following changes now apply to the Small Business Relief and Recovery Grant Application eligibility criteria.

  2. In addition, anyone who has applied for but not received a SAM UEI number by the deadline will be allowed to enter “pending.” The number must be received before any funds are awarded to the applicant.
  3. The application deadline has been extended to March 3, 2023, at 4:30

The official application was released on January 9, 2023, on the City’s website Hutchgov.com. An information session was held online via Microsoft Teams on January 27, 2023. All applications for funding are now due by March 3, 2023, at 4:30 pm.
