Five MMS Girls Wrestlers Finish First in Wellington Round Robin Tournament

WELLINGTON, Kan. – On Tuesday, January 31, the MMS Girls Wrestling team competed in a round robin tournament, where multiple girls would compete in four or five matches each.

“They competed well all night.” noted Head Coach Matt McCasland. “Pera (Bauer) and Rylee (Holt) had great nights and ran the table on their bracket. We were very impressed by the two of them.” He mentioned a few matches that got away from them that the girls’ felt they should have won, he said, “We feel like our record could have been better, but our staff is very proud of the girls overall.”
