HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The USD 308 Board of Education heard a presentation on special education at their meeting on Monday (January 23, 2023).
Assistant Superintendent of Special Education for USD 308, Jessica Engelland, and Assistant Director of Special Education, Sherri Hart, gave a presentation during the Study Session portion of the meeting on the services the special education department provides for students and families within USD 308.
Engelland discussed the programs that special education staff provide to ensure students are receiving the best education possible. During the presentation, the hard work and dedication of special education staff were also highlighted. BOE members had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss.
