McPHERSON, Kan. (CCCTigers.com) – In a hard-fought Sooner Athletic Conference game inside Jerry E Alexander Arena last night, the Central Christian College of Kansas Tigers showed determination but were ultimately outscored by the John Brown University Golden Eagles, with a final score of 63-53. Despite leading the scoring for the Tigers, Charmayne Marshall and Chloe Clevenger, each with 17 points.
The Tigers, kept it close and found themselves down by six points at the halftime break. The Golden Eagles turned the tables in the second half, shooting 45% from the field to pull away.
Noteworthy moments highlighted the game’s intensity, Chloe Clevenger not only scored equally high points but also secured 10 rebounds and made 4 steals, showcasing an all-round performance. Amanda Dotter continued to dominate on the boards, tallying 12 in this game.
