Gov. Kelly Anticipates Kansas Prospering for Generations Through Remainder of the 21st Century
TOPEKA, Kan. — Governor Laura Kelly delivered the 2025 State of the State address to a joint session of the Kansas Legislature on Wednesday, Jan. 15.
In her address, Gov. Kelly shared accomplishments achieved in her six years as governor and her focus on the future of the state, emphasizing the next generation who will see the 22nd Century.

- Importance of funding public schools
- Childhood hunger
- Protecting the state’s water supply for generations (a multigenerational promise)
