McPHERSON, Kan. (MacBulldogs.com) – McPherson College Director of Athletics Josh Daume announced today that Keiran President has resigned from his position as Director of Tennis.

“We appreciate Keiran’s outstanding service to McPherson College for the past 3 years. McPherson College Tennis has experienced great success during his tenure, and we will work quickly to identify a coach that will carry on a tradition of championship success for our men’s and women’s tennis teams,” stated Daume.

Under Coach President’s leadership, McPherson College won KCAC men’s tennis regular season and tournament championships in 2022, 2023, and 2024 advancing to the NAIA national tournament each year. The women won the KCAC regular season and tournament championship in 2024, also advancing to the NAIA national tournament for the first time since 2019.

President will be named the Head Coach at Chicago State University (NCAA Div. I.) “Although we hate to lose a coach of Keiran’s caliber, we wish him the very best as he pursues this opportunity at the highest level of collegiate tennis,” Daume also noted.

A national search for his replacement will begin immediately.
