McPHERSON COUNTY, Kan. — 2026 marks a special milestone year for the McPherson County Community Foundation (MCCF), as it celebrates 25 years of service to McPherson County Communities. Over the years the Foundation has worked with organizations to create new opportunities, address needs, and create lasting impact. To continue this tradition, MCCF is launching the ‘$2.5 for 25’ Campaign to build a ‘Dream’ Fund.

Currently the ‘Dream Fund’ has an endowment of $850,000. The plan is to have that endowment reach $2.5 million by 2026 in order to celebrate 25 years. Through ‘2.5 for 25’, donors will have the opportunity to expand the impact that the Foundation has, by contributing to a permanent resource in McPherson County.

The ‘Dream’ Fund serves as our unrestricted pool to support various initiatives, including the general grants cycle and Mastermind McPherson County.

“We want this fund to be bigger than the needs of our communities,” said Becky Goss, MCCF President and CEO. “When we named it the ‘Dream’ Fund, we meant it—it can truly support anything.”

A variety of assets, including cash, stock and real estate, may be contributed to the fund.
