KANSAS CITY, Mo. (TaborBluejays.com) – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2024 AFCA NAIA Football All-America teams last week.
Tabor’s Brooks Gardner was named to the AFCA NAIA Football Special Teams First Team for his efforts as the Bluejays’ long snapper. This marked the second straight season Gardner has earned this prestigious award.
Gardner served as a crucial piece to the Bluejays’ Special Teams unit this season, contributing to their breakout 6-5 season.
In addition to his work as a specialist, Gardner ends his career as the Bluejays’ all-time leader in career tackles. The Hillsboro native has received numerous awards over the course of his time on the field at Joel H. Wiens Stadium and this seems like the perfect way to close the chapter.
