HAVEN, Kan. — Congratulations to Ad Astra Radio’s Athlete of the Week for (12/15-12/21) Dalton Bontrager, Haven High School senior!
The week: Bontrager was instrumental in helping lead Haven to the tournament championship in Kingman. Playing three games in three days, Bontrager averaged 10 points, six rebounds, 2.1 steals and 1.3 assists a game, as Haven beat Meade, Kingman and Great Bend by an average of 26 points.
The season: Bontrager is off to a great start for the 5-0 Wildcats. The senior averaged 11 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.8 assists through the first four games for Haven.
