HILLSBORO, Kan. (CCCTigers.com) – The Men’s soccer team played to a draw in a heated battle with the Tabor Blue Jays. In what was a pretty even 1st half, Tabor was able to sneak a goal at 29:41, to take an early lead. A good look by Joan Muncharaz was stopped by Tabor goalie Ignacio Fabeiro to end the half. Even play started the second half, until Filippo Coscarella takes a shot at goal that missed right in the 68th minute, but the Tigers stayed aggressive and was able to get a huge equalizer in the 70th minute by Grant Adams, assisted by Coscarella to even the score at 1-1. The game started getting pretty heated at this point with aggressive play trying to get the go ahead goal. A shot by Marco Cherchi in the 85th minute went wide right and that was the end of the Tigers scoring threat as the game ended in a 1-1 draw. The Tigers move their record to 3-0-1, and the Blue Jays move to 0-1-2.

The Men (3-0-1) will play next at McPherson College (0-4) in the McPherson Collegiate Cup on Tuesday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm.
