Esquivel Hired as Central Christian Head Men’s Volleyball Coach

McPherson, Kan. (CCCTigers.com) – Central Christian College of Kansas is excited to announce the hiring Martin Esquivel to take over as the Head Coach of the Men’s Volleyball program.

Esquivel joins the Tigers’ coaching staff after coaching various sports at the High School level for the last five years. Prior to that, he was a student assistant for the Women’s Volleyball program at Hiram College where he played Football and Volleyball. Esquivel graduated from Hiram College in 2019 with a double major in History and Educational Studies.

Esquivel, a native of Palmetto, Florida, commented saying, “I am very excited to join the Central Christian Tigers family, I can’t wait to see what the season has in store and to help build the Men’s and Women’s programs with Coach Hughes.”

When asked about Esquivel’s hiring, Coach Hughes said, “I am very excited about Martin Esquivel coming on as the Head Men’s Volleyball coach. This is a great thing for the Men’s program and in a short time, Martin has already had a big impact. We have more players committing to the program, the guys will now have a dedicated trainer during the off-season, and he is helping both programs improve. Very excited to have another coach in the CCCK Volleyball programs.”

Coach Esquivel has already begun his duties as head coach at CCCK, jumping into recruiting and getting acquainted with the program.
