BUHLER, Kan. — The Buhler Frolic Committee has begun planning this year’s Buhler Frolic, with the circus theme “Under the Big Top”.
Last fall, the committee announced that the date for the Frolic was changed to the last Saturday of September. This year, it will be Sept. 28. This decision to change the date was made in order to continue growing the festival and was keeping in mind of other activities around the county being held the first Saturday of October.
Several Buhler Frolic Favorites will be coming back this year, and there will be some new ones introduced as well, one of which is a carnival ride.
The famous “Double Parade” will be held in the morning, followed by entertainment throughout the afternoon, and a meal and music for the evening. Craft and food vendors will be set up down Main Street.
Committee Chairman Sarah Orem shared that if you would like to give to the Buhler Frolic Committee, but would rather donate something “in kind”, the committee would appreciate the support. Every sponsor will be listed on all flyers and brochures and the Buhler Frolic Facebook page.
Donations can be sent to the Buhler Frolic Committee by Aug. 31, 2024: P.O Box 114, Buhler, KS 67522
