— TABOR COLLEGE ATHLETICS RELEASE —
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (TaborBluejays.com) – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has released their 2024 All-America Scholar-Athlete selections.
Tabor Softball performed well in the classroom in addition to their performance on the field, posting a 3.44 team-wide Grade Point Average (GPA). 20 Bluejay Softball student-athletes were named as All-America Scholar-Athlete selections including: Alexa Garza, Cheyenne Washington, Chloe Yturbide-Reader, Darcy Gillen, Dessa Zavala, Jacie Myers, Jacqueline Garcia, Jordyn Farren, Keeley Brewer, Lainee Rae Miller, Laura Savage, Lauren Roberts, Leyla Ayala, Megan Buerger, Mickelly Soyez, Mikayla Guarascio, Reese Hefley, Reyna Enriquez, Savannah Evans, and Taylor Sheppard.
Head Softball Coach and Director of Athletics, Jeff Brewer had this to say about the accomplishments of his team “This is a great group to be able to work with every day. Their ability to stay the path with their academics and balance the demands of playing softball really says a lot about them.”
“They are a fun group to be around, I am looking forward to seeing the purpose and plan God has for their lives. I am very proud for them and the things they can accomplish in the classroom, on campus and on the field. Roll Jays!”
