HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Fire Department’s Brush 71 and crew have accepted an assignment to the Durkee fire in Eastern Oregon. This crew left the station today at 3:30 p.m. The Durkee Fire is a growing fire of approximately 200,000 acres. Please pray for a safe assignment and safe travels as this crew will be putting in a large amount of work for the next 14 to 16 days.
